Actium offers investors the opportunity to seek attractive returns through first-position real estate loans. Our deal flow enables us to make loans that we consider the safest and most likely to be quickly repaid. First-position liens on real estate offers principal protection and offset market volatility. Investments are generally structured with interest rates of 10% to 12% plus origination fees.

Actium Lending offers bridge loans and hard money loans as agile vehicles to accomplish your goals on short timelines. We help you by structuring our bridge loans for a longer period of time than most (one year) so the points don’t approach a high annual rate. Our hard money loans can also be a creative way to obtain funding quickly and without having to jump through the hoops normally associated with traditional bank funding. And importantly, there are no prepayment penalties.

President

Paul Christenson

Paul co-founded Actium in 2004 and has been actively involved in growing its companies since then. He leads the sourcing of loans and the due diligence process. Paul practiced corporate law with the firms of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Hong Kong and Durham Jones & Pinegar in Salt Lake, focusing on lending and real estate transactions. Paul received a B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Utah and a J.D. from Georgetown University. Paul previously served as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Road Home and is currently a trustee of the Emma McVicker Foundation. He is also a member of the Eccles School Advisory Board at the University of Utah.

CHAIRMAN

Jeffrey Wright

Jeffrey serves as the Chairman of Actium Partners. Prior to Actium, Jeffrey invested in a variety of industries including biotechnology, real estate and reinsurance. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees of Southern Utah University and chaired the Guadalupe School Board of Directors. Jeffrey also served as vice-chair of the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission. A recipient of Bachelor of Arts degrees in both history and political science from the University of Utah, he also received a certificate in international accounting from the London School of Economics. He also holds a certificate in strategic leadership from Oxford University.

ACCOUNTANT AND HR MANAGER

Alisha Terry

Ms. Terry is an accountant and HR manager for Actium. Prior to joining the Actium team, Ms. Terry worked in small business and large corporations with over 20 years of experience.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Amanda Mark

Ms. Mark is the operations manager for the Actium team. Prior to joining Actium, Ms. Mark was involved in business development in the construction industry for over 10 years.

LOAN ADMINISTRATOR

Rachel Gallacher

Ms. Gallacher is a loan administrator for Actium. Prior to joining the team, Ms. Gallacher spent 15 years in administration for higher education, corporate and small business.
